Typical Rashes

Rash in short is an acute and widespread temporary reddish eruption on the skin. A rash can  develop in individuals that are sensitive to a particular drug, prescription or nonprescription. The rashes are characterized by itching of an intensity that can interfere with sleep or normal activities. The rash results from the entire body reacting to the drug itself and usually develops early in treatment rather than after the drug has been taken for a period of time. Rash is a change in the skin which affects its appearance and or texture. Most often a rash is localised to one part of the body, but other times it can have an affect on the entire body. Rashes can cause the skin to change color, become bumpy, dry, itchy, swell among other things that can result in alot of pain. Because of the wide array of rash symptoms treatments also vary widely. A proper diagnosis should look at all of the visual and physical symptoms of the rash, and also what the possible cause of the rash was. Often times the area in which the rash exists can tell alot about it's condition, and where it is going. Rashes are often times associated and a result of diseases. For example, measles with cause a rash, that begins a few days after the fever begins. The most common causes of rashes today are: allergies, (ex. allerfic reaction to: foods, animeals, dyes, medicines, insect stings, etc), skin contact with an irritant, infection or reaction to a vaccine, skin diseases such as eczema or acne, autoimmune disorders such as psoriasis, cancer or other disease, pregnancy and, exposure to sun or heat. Vital Pieces Of Lung Cancer Survival Rate

It is not an easy way to understand all the figures about the Lung Cancer Survival Rate. You have to know how these figures are arranged and what they mean exactly. There are things that sway how the rates are determined and what you find in the rates may not be precisely what you think.

Basics

Lung Cancer Survival Rate statements refer to a group of people suffering from one specific type of lung cancer, at a certain stage. Survival statistics may also indicate rates for people suffering from lung cancer at any stage of the disease. Usually the survival statistics relate to the survival rate after 5 years, no matter if the person still has cancer or is in remission.

It is important that you understand these statistics are based upon a large group and are averages. They can predict what the survival rate will be for any particular person, as every case is different.

Survival Rate Factors

As stated earlier, there are a lot of factors that influence Lung Cancer Survival Rate statistics. Some factors that may affect the survival rate include:

• Cancer stages
• The type
• Symptoms present
• Conditions of general health
• Date of diagnosis

When a doctor gives patient information on the possible outcome of their diagnosis, it is based upon a general idea of what happens in the average case. It is really an estimate and not an exact science.

Average Survival Rate

The average Lung Cancer Survival Rate for those diagnosed with early stage lung cancer is 49%. This means that 49 out of 100 people live for at least 5 years after diagnosis. On the other hand, people diagnosed with lung cancer that has spread have only a 3% survival rate or only 3 out of 100 people live at least 5 years after diagnosis.

Using Survival Rates

Now, you have understood the purpose of Lung Cancer Survival Rate statistics means you may start to understand how they can be used. The essential use is to help people understand what will happen to them in the treatment of disease and the chance to live.

Another, more positive, it uses to understand how to be aggressive with treatment. Lung cancer statistics will help the doctor to decide the treatments that are working or not. They can help the doctor to make a plan of treatment that will increase the survival rates of patients. Generally, the statistics are extremely useful.
